Key Fund Investments is launching a social enterprise incubator in Newcastle, with partners The Virgin Money Foundation and funding from The Big Lottery Fund.

We are looking to support 8 existing social organisations to launch a new product or service or for those entering a phase of growth. The programme will combine individualised business development plans, with masterclasses, mentoring, access to professional expertise and help to get the right investment at the right time.

Our aim is to help create a core group of strong, well networked social enterprises across the North East of England who can make the most of the expertise, relationships and facilities on offer.

Support will be designed in a way that does not distract from the day job, but will require a commitment of time and energy to get full value for your social enterprise and yourself.

There will be a blend of 1:2:1, group and distance support on offer touching on all the core areas of business, but tailored to your needs. The core programme will launch in spring 2018 and run through to autumn 2018, with ongoing support until spring 2019. All participants will also be supported by a programme coordinator who will work on your behalf to build links, access expertise and support your development.

Entrance to the incubator is by way of a simple application form and the successful candidates will be selected by a panel of the partners.
